LA/LGB Port Congestion anticipated to last through June 2021

As per an article from February 4, 2021, the epic congestion that is hitting the ports of Long Beach and LA is anticipated to last until June 2021 thanks, in part, to record year imports and lower workforce due to COVID-19.
In order to help combat the congestion, CMA CGM announced a direct route from Asia to the port of Oakland, which began on February 12th.

If you are importing, do note that congestion is really causing a backlog of both containers waiting to be loaded onto the rail and being able to be unloaded in a warehouse. It might be best to route elsewhere in the US in order to same some valuable time.
