As per the Federal Register, the US Trade Rep is reinstating exclusions for some tariffs from the China 301 duties. You’ll want to check the list as some items are product specific and some may be general. You can check those out at this link here. They are grouped by the China tariff/list number (9903.88.01,9903.88.02,etc)
They aren’t the first, and they definitely won’t be the last. In 2020, logistics giant CMA-CGM was hit. Now, in an already strained logistics system, one of the biggest has been hacked, Expeditors International. Any exclusions that have not already expired will be expiring December 31st, 2020 as of right now. With a new administration change to happen in January, there’s no telling what happens over the next few months. It’s possible the exclusions could be renewed, or hoping for the best, that the Section 301 duties are nixed
