Wasatch CHB has officially relocated to Bellingham, WA, but that doesn’t mean anything has changed! As we all know, COVID-19 really brought out opportunities for companies to perform more work remotely, so even though our physical address has changed, the services we provide haven’t.
Customs and Border Protection even updated the regulations with the Broker Modernization Act in 2022. No longer are customs brokers required to have a local permit for each office they are performing customs business in but moved to a national permit system. So all brokers are now nationally permitted. With this, many large companies are now consolidating their brokerage offices to a few locations as they are no longer required to staff a licensed broker at each office.
